Elizabeth May (Green Party leader) is being excluded from the leader's debate.

Why?

Because the Green Party has no seats in Parliament. Well, if we lived in a democratic country (which sadly it appears we don't) having almost 1 million votes, which came from every province and territory in Canada last election (Green Party) and having just over 1 million votes all of which were from Quebec (Bloc Quebecois), would no equate to 0 seats (Green Party) and 49 seats (Bloc Quebecois). There's something fundamentally wrong there.

I have nothing against the Bloc, but how does it even make sense that a separatist would be allowed in the debates concerning Canada over Elizabeth May? It just makes no sense whatsoever.

Also, based on votes, Elizabeth May deserves as much of a voice as Duceppe. Not inviting her to the debates is UNDEMOCRATIC and they cannot get away with it.

If you're Canadian, please sign this petition telling the media consortium that what they are doing is undemocratic.

Demand democratic debates!

Canadian friends, look at where your personal savings or pension money might be going, and what getting a new gadget every time a cool nifty one comes out is doing:
